Ambalaż Café is the only café in Kraków with a panoramic view from the 4th floor of Cricoteka — the Centre for the Documentation of the Art of Tadeusz Kantor in Podgórze. The floor-to-ceiling windows reveal a sweeping vista of the Vistula, historic Kazimierz and the Bernatka Footbridge. It is a table with a view you will not find at any other café in Kraków.

Ambalaż Café operates on a walk-in basis — no reservation needed. Simply come in and we will find you a table with a view of the Vistula.
Reservations are accepted only for groups of 5 or more. To book a table for a larger group, send us a direct message on Instagram @ambalaz_cafe. Include the date, time, number of guests and any table preferences. We usually respond within a few hours.
For groups of fewer than 5 — no reservation needed, just walk in!
Best times to visit
If you value peace and an intimate atmosphere, the best time to visit is weekday mornings — from 10:00 to 12:00. The café is quieter then, and the morning light beautifully illuminates the Kraków panorama. It is the ideal moment for a leisurely breakfast with a view or working on your laptop with a specialty coffee.
Weekends (especially Saturdays 11:00–14:00) are our busiest time — family brunches, social gatherings and romantic dates with a view of the Vistula. At weekends we strongly recommend booking in advance.
Afternoons from 2 pm are great for those who want to combine lunch with coffee — from that hour we serve main courses: pierogi, pasta, gnocchi. The evening hours (17:00–19:00) offer beautiful sunsets over the Vistula.
What to expect on arrival
Ambalaż Café is on the 4th floor of Cricoteka at Nadwiślańska 2/4 in Kraków's Podgórze district. A lift takes you to the top — the café is fully accessible for wheelchair users, families with pushchairs and elderly visitors.
You will find panoramic glazing with views of the Vistula and Kazimierz, breakfast served all day (10:00–19:00), lunch from 2 pm and a full specialty coffee menu — espresso, flat white, cold brew, matcha latte, smoothies and signature teas. Payment by cash, card or BLIK. Free Wi-Fi is available.
Reservations for special occasions
Birthdays and name days — celebrate in an extraordinary setting with a panorama of Kraków. When booking, you can request a window table and let us know about the occasion — we will do our best to make the evening special.

Business meetings — the quiet interior, Wi-Fi and great coffee provide ideal conditions for a client meeting or a brainstorming session with your team. The café is quieter on weekdays, which is conducive to conversation.
